What is Power-Pole Arena
Welcome to Power-Pole Arena, Tampa's premier training and recreational hockey facility founded by former NHL forward John Tucker.
Power-Pole Arena is a 3/4 size ice rink situated near Tampa International Airport, the only ice facility located in Tampa proper.
Our unique ice size enables our staff to teach in a more intimate and personalized atmosphere. All of our coaches have played at university and / or professional levels of hockey.
Individual and team skills, team practices, video review and off-ice training are all available in our center.
We specialize in developing younger players, and our Mite Rec and Mite Travel programs yield exceptional results. We are a FULL ice Mite center.
Power Pole Arena is a place where players of all ages can foster a deep love for the game, sharpen their skills, and experience the thrill of hockey in a focused, high-intensity environment.

What is FITC
WELCOME TO FITC
Florida Ice Training Center (FITC) is the acronym for our in-house coaching staff and programming. All coaches in our facility have played at the university or professional hockey levels. There are NO parent coaches.
FITC coaches are dedicated to being the premier development destination for hockey players and coaches. Our staff provides hockey players with a structured learning environment that encourages and motivates each individual to reach their highest playing potential. Every player, family and coach has a goal in mind. It is our belief that the development path for each person is unique.
OUR PROCESS, YOUR JOURNEY
Each player, parent or coach has the same goal in mind; to compete at the highest level possible. At FITC, we know that no two players will have the same journey throughout their playing careers. While every player needs to master the same skills and techniques, each player has their own unique path to follow. It is our goal to facilitate that journey and help players achieve their ultimate success.
Why PPA
Our hope is to make your family's experience one that you will never forget. Power Pole Arena is a very family oriented space where great hockey memories will be made. Our scope encompasses the 6-year old player just getting started to the returning 16-year old still chasing his/her hockey dreams. We are also home to the university or junior player returning to where it all began, and extending to those local players who are now professionals returning during the off season to hone their skills. This just is a special place!
We do not advertise as much as other arenas in the area, we let our reputation speak for itself! When you discover our product, philosophy and spirit we believe you will have found your hockey home!
